No to BULLYING!

Bullying is a major issue faced by most of the schools and colleges in todays time. The more we try to control and provide our students with an environment free from bullying, the more incidences come to light.

As a teacher, I thought the best way to curb bullying is to spread awareness amongst the students about the drastic effects of it.

The students of grade 6 studied the book, Matilda as their course book. While having an in depth analysis of the book and the characters, the students came up with the concept of bullying. They understood that the antagonist of the book, Miss Trunchbull was a bully and affected the students in dire ways.

These discussions lead me to assign them with a task of creating posters and spreading awareness on this issue.
